US-based embedded investing and savings platform Atomic Invest has acquired Groene Hart Financial Diensten, a Dutch markets in financial instruments directive (MiFID) investment firm, for an undisclosed amount as the company looks to scale its platform across Europe.
Established in 2020, Atomic Invest is an investing-as-a-service platform that enables businesses to integrate investing and wealth management features into their products, including fractional investing, direct indexing, cash management, and global trading services.
The company says the acquisition provides it with “a strong regulatory foothold in the EU and unlocks the ability to offer white-label wealth management, brokerage, and cash-management services to European fintechs and financial institutions”.
The deal will see Groene Hart Financial Diensten fully integrated into Atomic Invest’s European operations, with the newly combined company offering its clients “localised investment and brokerage services, including country-specific tax reporting, support for tax-advantaged account structures, and products tailored to local market needs”, Atomic Invest says.
