
TransBnk, a transaction banking platform headquartered in Mumbai, India, has raised $25 million in a Series B funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. The raise was supported by 8i Ventures, Accion Venture Lab, GMO Venture Partners in Japan, and new investors Arkam Ventures and Fundamentum Partnership.
TransBnk previously landed $1 million in a 2023 seed round, followed by a $4 million Series A last year, both led by 8i Ventures. Funds will be used to expand operations to new markets in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, as well as to develop the company’s technology and product suite.
Founded by former bankers Vaibhav Tambe, Lavin Kotian, Pulak Jain, and Sachin Gupta in 2022, TransBnk provides a unified API-based platform that connects businesses to multiple banking systems through a single interface, enabling streamlined corporate transaction management across different financial institutions.
Its services suite comprises digital lending, supply chain solutions, marketplace solutions, capital market services, and custodial services, with TransBnk currently serving around 220 clients.
