Osome founder and CEO Victor Lysenko departs

Victor Lysenko, CEO and founder of business and financial management platform Osome, has announced that he is leaving the company after more than eight years of leadership. 

Confirming his departure via LinkedIn, Lysenko said: “After 8.5 extraordinary years, my journey as founder and CEO of Osome is coming to a close.”

Headquartered in Singapore, Osome provides digital solutions for business administration, including company formation, accounting, and financial management services. 

The company has amassed over 27,000 clients since being founded by Lysenko in May 2017, with backers including Illuminate Financial, AFG Partners, and Winter Capital, among others. 

In announcing his departure, Lysenko describes the decision to step away as “bittersweet”, while also noting the various accomplishments made under his tenure.

These include expanding services beyond Singapore to Hong Kong, the UK, and the UAE, where Osome most recently launched in October, as well as generating “tens of millions in revenue”. 

Lysenko states: “I have complete confidence that the new leadership will continue to drive Osome to even greater heights.” His successor as CEO has not yet been revealed. FinTech Futures has contacted Lysenko and Osome for comment.

Prior to Osome, Lysenko also founded Cheap and Daily, Groupon Russia, and RocketBank. Regarding his future entrepreneurial endeavours, he states: “As for me, I am excited about my next chapter. I look forward to tackling new challenges and opportunities. Stay tuned!”
