The Luxembourg division of Italian banking group BPER has selected ERI’s flagship Olympic Banking System as its new core banking platform.
The system supports tools for client relationship management, onboarding, regulatory reporting, portfolio and order management, and digital banking, and is currently used by around 400 financial institutions globally, including Ardshinbank and DBSKN.
Olympic will replace the legacy Sopra Banking Software (SBS) core banking system used by BPER Bank Luxembourg since the early 2010s, FinTech Futures understands.
BPER is currently in the process of updating core banking infrastructure across the group, and signed a four-year deal with IBM in October 2022 for hybrid cloud technology and AI tools.
The group has been operating in Luxembourg since February 1996 and provides wealth, private, treasury, and investment management services as well as securities trading and loan and administrative services through its regional subsidiary.
