Fiduciam hires UBS veteran Clinton Moseley as CFO and COO

Former UBS executive Clinton Moseley has been appointed as the new chief operating and financial officer at Fiduciam, a UK-based commercial lender that provides secured loans to small and medium-sized businesses.

The COO position was previously held by head of investor relations Carl Jabbour, who departed Fiduciam for wealth firm Vennre in September, while Moseley succeeds the role of CFO from Antonio Martín Barceló.

Moseley joins from investment management solutions provider Confluence, where he worked for over seven years, first as director of operations before rising to managing director of global data services.

The bulk of Moseley’s COO experience comes from UBS Investment Bank, where he spent nearly two decades serving in positions across equities management and derivatives structuring, regulatory and operational risk, and eventually FX, rates, and credit distribution.

This latest appointment by Fiduciam brings Moseley back together with former UBS executives Johan Groothaert and Henrik Takkenberg, who founded the company in 2014 and now serve as CEO and director, respectively.

Together, the trio will work to scale a platform that offers bridging loans, commercial mortgages, development finance, and trading business loans ranging from £500,000 to £25 million, secured against real estate assets across the UK and six other European markets, including the Netherlands, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, and France.
