The Cambridge Building Society deploys Finova onboarding app

The Cambridge Building Society (CBS), a UK-based mutual with over £2 billion in assets, has gone live with Finova’s onboarding app for savers, which launched in February.

Founded in 1850, CBS currently provides a range of savings products, including bonds, cash ISAs, and business, junior and notice accounts, alongside its mortgage offering. Members will now be able to open and manage accounts for these products using their mobile devices.

Finova’s white label solution is built on Microsoft’s cross-platform .NET MAUI framework and supports biometric login. Upcoming developments are to include “AI-powered features to further personalise user experiences and improve fraud detection”, according to a statement.

Finova, formerly known as DPR, is a long-standing technology partner to CBS, with the building society previously migrating to its cloud-hosted mortgages and savings software system in 2021.
